First and foremost, I want to leave my screenshot of latest receipt from PLDT regarding my internet bill for January 2020 for reference. For some reason the receipt is not sending to my registered mail, an issue on their side perhaps? Well, it is better to have a proof than sorry.
Alright, so here goes. If you are a PLDT internet subscriber like me and happen to pass by this post, more importantly you want to avoid the long queues in Bayad Centers, and want to do the payment online or what I call “paperless billing”. All you need to do is to make sure you have an existing valid credit card for you to be able to transact online.
Is there any security issue? Of course yes, every online transaction has a risk but it is minimal, to be specific a scale of one is to one-hundred-thousand (1:100000) . It is so minimal that only VIPs are being targeted by so-called hackers.
To sum this up, here’s the list on what you need to pay PLDT bills online:
- Valid Credit Card (VISA recommended)
- Valid Email Address registered in PLDT’s database
- PLDT Account Number
- PLDT Billing Statement sent to your email address
