⭐ Emgrand Spa Aseana City Review (June 26, 2026)
📍 Location: Emgrand Spa, Aseana City, Parañaque
🕒 Package Availed: ₱1,699 + 12% VAT (12-hour stay)
I finally got to experience Emgrand Spa, and overall, I can say it was a sulit experience despite a few shortcomings. Here’s my honest review.
🛎️ Arrival & Registration
The experience started on a positive note.
The reception staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They explained all the amenities in detail, which is especially helpful for first-time visitors. I also appreciated the complimentary breath candies available at the lobby.
The ₱1,699 package includes:
- 12-hour stay
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and midnight snack buffet
- Public baths
- Arcade games
- Videoke rooms
- Nest rooms
- Lounges
- Cinema (scheduled)
- Billiards (starting 10:00 AM)
- Strong Wi-Fi
- Free parking
I also availed their Starlight Membership for just ₱1 (plus presentation of a valid ID), which I think is one of the best deals they offer. Membership benefits include:
- FREE ₱888-worth massage
- FREE beer from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM
- FREE car wash from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Definitely worth getting.
🍳 Breakfast
The breakfast selection was fairly typical.
I had:
- Beef noodles
- Fried rice
- String beans
- Watermelon
- Orange juice
Nothing extraordinary, but enough to start the day.
🎮 Arcade Area (6th Floor)
I was excited to try the arcade.
Unfortunately…
The motorcycle arcade game (MANX) appears to have a broken bike, making it less enjoyable.
I also tried the racing simulator, but sadly, the steering wheel also seemed worn out or broken.
I didn’t get the chance to try the other arcade games.
Hopefully these machines receive maintenance soon because they have a lot of potential.
🎤 Videoke
This was one of my favorite parts.
I spent almost two hours just singing, and I really enjoyed it. The videoke machine is modern and has a good song selection.
The only downside is the room temperature.
The air conditioning wasn’t strong enough, so after a while the room became quite warm.
🚽 Facilities
I explored almost every accessible area.
The Nest Rooms and lounges were clean and relaxing.
And I have to give special mention to their premium restroom…
That bidet deserves a 10/10! 😂
The water pressure was amazing.
Sometimes it’s the little things.
🍱 Lunch
Lunch was decent.
I had:
- Steamed rice
- Pork Asado
- Pork Humba
- Lemon Chicken
- Iced Tea
Again, fairly typical buffet food.
🎬 Cinema
Another highlight of my stay.
I watched Justice League, and I was honestly impressed with the cinema.
The reclining sleeping chairs were incredibly comfortable.
I’d easily rate the cinema experience 10/10.
It felt surprisingly luxurious.
🍜 Snacks
After the movie, I ordered:
- Jin Ramen – ₱250
- Fish Balls – ₱70
- Fanta Orange – ₱130
Perfect comfort food after relaxing in the cinema.
💆 Massage Experience
This was probably the biggest reason why the visit became worth it.
First, I claimed my FREE ₱888 massage benefit through my Starlight Membership.
I also tried the Caicai Ear Cleaning service.
It was my first time having an expert clean my ears, and surprisingly, it was incredibly relaxing.
Then I availed the ₱1,588 Whole Body Massage (60 minutes).
Sulit na sulit!
The therapists were skilled, and I left feeling completely refreshed.
My only complaint is that guests are mandated to give a minimum of 200 pesos as tip to the therapist, even if the massage is part of your membership benefit.
🛁 Bath & Sauna
I wasn’t able to try the public bath or sauna.
The reason is simple.
Guests are required to remove all clothing before entering the bathing area, and that’s personally outside my comfort zone.
That’s simply my personal preference.
♟️ VIP Areas
I noticed there is also a Chess Room and a Card Room.
From what I observed, these appear to be intended for VIP members.
🍣 Dinner
Dinner was, without question, the best buffet among all the meals.
This is where the premium dishes came out.
Some of my favorites were:
- Sashimi
- California Maki
- Premium Beef Noodles
There were noticeably more choices compared to breakfast and lunch.
The dining area’s ambiance was also excellent.
A huge LED screen was showing programs while everyone ate.
The only downside for me was that almost everything shown was in Chinese.
During my visit, they were showing the World Cup.
Overall Experience
One thing I noticed is that Chinese is the primary language throughout the establishment.
Most of the TV channels, menus, and even some of the operating systems displayed on the televisions are Chinese-oriented.
It didn’t negatively affect my stay, but it’s something future visitors should know.
Final Verdict ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4.5/5)
Despite a few issues—such as some arcade machines needing repairs, average breakfast and lunch selections, warm videoke rooms, and the expectation of tipping after massages—I genuinely enjoyed my stay.
There are simply so many amenities included in the entrance fee that it’s impossible to enjoy everything in just 12 hours.
I’d definitely come back.
Next time, I’ll plan my schedule better so I can maximize all the facilities I missed.
I’m also hoping Emgrand sends me one of their “sulit na sulit” promotions because if they do, they’ll definitely be at the top of my list for another relaxing stay.
Would I recommend Emgrand Spa?
Absolutely.
Especially if you’re looking for a place where you can eat, relax, watch movies, sing karaoke, enjoy a massage, and simply unwind all in one location.
